In absolutely excellent location. Clarksville is a gorgeous historic area adjacent to downtown. Grocery, coffee, and excellent restaurants a block away on West Lynn. Downtown, UT, Zilker Park, Deep Eddy Pool, Barton Springs in five minutes. Countless neighborhood restaurants, nightlife, etc.

ASK ABOUT MONTHLY DISCOUNTS for longer term stays including March or October. Rates are a lot higher in those months because of music festivals, race weekends, etc. But if part of a longer term stay the rate will be a lot lower.

The yard is private and fenced but we do not represent it as being dog proof. Dogs can be in the fenced area but not unaccompanied by their person. 

This is a vibrant area just a few blocks from downtown in a very gay-friendly neighborhood. We created these Austin listings specifically to let LGBTQ+ people and their friends know that we are affirming and welcoming. Of course we accept all people regardless of orientations. We are a gay couple, together 35 years. We live in the main house on the property (in back of the cottage), and there is a modern guest house studio on the property as well.

We book nightly, weekly, monthly, and long term.  Rates generally range from  $140 to $250 a night (ACL, SXSW, and F1 and UT football weekends will be higher)  $4250 a month to $5950 a month.   Nightly or weekly rates range as well.   Generally speaking summer months are less expensive, and fall/winter/spring months are in very high demand because of the weather, so prices reflect that.

Both originally from Texas, Phil and I met in 1988. Been together ever since. Relocated a lot for work, but eventually found our way back to Texas. Austin specifically. In the early 90s we sold our Jeep CJ5 and used that money as a down payment on a house together. It came with a small rental apartment attached. We've been providing lodging ever since. We traveled a lot for work. We found that same sex couples were not always welcome, even in supposedly open-minded places. We found just to avoid hassle we sometimes found ourselves hiding our true selves. As a Navy spouse I actually had to pretend to be of the opposite gender in communications when Phil was overseas, back in the days of Don't Ask Don't Tell. I'd like to think we've come a long way since then. And in many ways we have. But still it's nice to stay where you aren't just tolerated - you're welcomed and affirmed.
